Solaric Signed Rooftop Solar EPC With Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ)

In continuation of this, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Bangladesh Special Economic Zone (BSEZ) for rooftop solar power plant. As a beginning Solaric has signed a primary agreement of a rooftop solar project with BSEZ on 22th August,2023.

Bangladesh Special Economic Zone, also known as BSEZ is the first special economic zone developed by a Japanese company in the nation, established jointly in partnership with the government of Bangladesh (Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority: BEZA) at Araihazar, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. The initiative was taken by the Sumitomo Corporation of Japan, who has been playing a leading role in assisting manufacturers’ production activity through industrial park development for over 30 years. With the establishment of BSEZ, the Sumitomo Corporation aims to play a leading role in this emerging market of Bangladesh through development of a platform for the manufacturing industry. BSEZ is fully supported by both governments of Bangladesh and Japan with funding by Japanese government loan financing and Bangladesh government implementation of off-site infrastructure development that includes flood prevention (land filling and embankment) and infrastructure development (power plant, substation, telecommunication line, gas station, etc.) of international standards.

The contract signing ceremony was attended by distinguished guests from both the companies. It was held on 22th August at BSEZ’s location at Araihazar, Narayanganj. Engr. Naznin Akhter, Director of Solaric & Mr. Tara Kawachi, Managing Director of Sumitomo Corporation signed the contract of the two companies.
